By Zeta C Donairee

Guidelines to create a camping grill include gathering all the essential supplies, utilizing bricks or concrete blocks and utilizing an aluminum pan.

Camping activities are exciting to do, particularly during summer season. And, a camping activity will not be complete without barbecuing some food. If you don't have a camping grill, you can create one out of very economical disposable components, and you never have to worry about the cleaning too.

Gather all the needed supplies

The basic supplies you'll need to develop a camping grill include an aluminum pan, a few concrete blocks or stones, a barbeque grill rack, and some pieces of charcoal. Have these elements ready, so you will be able to complete your camping grill easier and quicker whenever you are already at your camping area. Purchase these things from the supermarket, if you need to, or obtain other options at home. For example, if you do not have an aluminum pan at home, you can use an old cake pan. A smoker is also another option. This will be utilized as a base where the charcoals will be placed. A cooking stand is also vital because this will be where the meat will be put on while grilling. Be sure that it's made of a material which will not melt or burn into flames when place into a fire. A rack made of aluminum or steel will be excellent for this task. Nevertheless, if you cannot find an item in your house which you can utilize as a grilling tray, just go to the nearby store that sells these things. You'd be able to purchase a rack at a very reasonable price.

Utilize an aluminum pan

You can build an improvised camping grill by utilizing an aluminum pan. Just put charcoals within it, and then light the charcoal. You can light the charcoal much easier and faster if you put a bit of lighter fluid into it before putting fire. After you've properly lit the charcoals, position the grill on top of the aluminum pan. Let the charcoal glow, and make sure that it will not produce any flames since it could burn your food easily. You can sprinkle a bit of water just to douse the flame and manage the glowing charcoal. All you should do now is to place the pieces of meat on the tray and begin grilling.

Use bricks or cement blocks

As an alternative to the aluminum pan, you can also use stones or cement blocks. All you need to do is create two stacks of concrete blocks or stones. Save some space at the middle of your piles to put the charcoals. Make sure that your bricks can support and keep your rack atop the charcoals. A better way to use the bricks would be to place 2 sections opposite each other, forming a cube. Be sure that you have enough area in between to put the charcoals and support the grill above. Fill up the space with charcoals and light them up. Then, position the grill over the brick portions, place the meat on the barbeque grill, and begin grilling.

Be careful when dealing with flames. As much as possible, avoid getting burnt or spreading the fire.
