Critique of iPad 2 and experience using it.

By John Spiers

Apple's iPad 2 is a fabulous and smooth yet very functional tablet. The tablet is only about 0.34" that makes it incredibly thin. In spite of the reduction in size compared with the first iPad, the hardware that comes together with the iPad 2 is improved. It is loaded with an A5 twin core processor that may attain wonderful speeds of up to 1GHz.

The iPad 2 developers has made its battery life last for longer. It will supply the longest battery life-span among all the other tablets in the market. So don't even think about picking up one of those Android tablets at those bankrupt stock for sale websites. The A5 dual core processor chip help to do this task since both processors are splitting the actions of the device unlike with a single core processor that takes nearly much energy because all activities are hogged by that single core.

The tablet would run in iOS 4.3 but it can be updated to iOS 5 which is the newest and most stable software ever developed. The iOS 5 permits multi-touch functions to run in the iPad 2. By having an A5 dual core processor, which can reach speeds of nearly 1GHz it, will certainly give a faster and more improved performance compared with other tablets. It would also be having a 512MB ram which may increase the high speed processing quality of the tablet.

The iPad 2 has a 1024 x 768, 9.7" display and it's built in with the retina display. The retina display offers a very high impact display having 4x as much pixels in the screen. It would result to a crisp and wonderfully clear display that makes pixels unnoticeable by the human eye

It's got a built in rear camera which can take videos of up to 720p at 30fps and can take photographs with digital zoom features of at least 5x. The front camera is a VGA quality camera that gives optimum results.

Once upgraded with the most recent iOS 5 software, the iCloud technology can often be used to hold and retrieve pictures, videos, music and applications without storing them in the device's memory.

With the features being mentioned my own experience with the iPad 2 has been amazing. With all its features and the large range of apps that can be downloaded for free or even programs that require payment, every app suits everything I need and I never lose interest at all. Whenever I'm going to work, a quick placement of my WIFI earphones and I listen to relaxing music. When ever there isn't anything to do, I flip open my iPad 2 and play games like Temple Run, Fruit Ninja, iAssociate, and more games. I even use my iPad 2 for work. I edit my work files, review and review my reports and projects.
